I was born and raised in Portland, OR with a large family of 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Our family environment was chaotic to say the least with my dad always working and essentially my brothers and sisters raising me.

My brothers were into the UFC, WWE wrestling, martial arts, and worshipped idols such as Bruce Lee, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, etc.. Their likes became my likes as well.

Fast forward, I started getting into sports in 8th grade where I started with football and wrestling. My friend at the time got me into wrestling because he said it was the hardest thing that he’d ever done and since my brother had done wrestling, it made me want to try it out.

I found the concept of out working everyone quite fascinating and thought it would be a good challenge for me and really nothing more than that.

As a current office work (Electrical Engineer), I started to understand the importance of physical activity in life, and also mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I realize that if I don’t care of these parts of me that I don’t feel optimal and am not performing my best.

The physical activities that I have been involved with (to some extent) are Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, strength training, body building, calisthenics, capoeira, boxing, running, tennis, football, tennis, yoga, and as time goes on and am interested in dance, swimming, gymnastics, kick boxing or muay thai, tricking, break dancing, scuba diving etc..

I read books on a day to day basis as well as meditate daily to ensure that I’m keeping up with my mental and emotional health.

I believe these activities is what keeps me going every day knowing that there are always things to learn or improve upon and that you can really never be bored with life as there are learning opportunities or challenges that can always keep you engaged and that is what keeps life fascinating. Who knows where opportunities, challenges or struggles may take you.
