This page is used to highlight and keep track of the various training programs that is currently being practiced. I have a regimented training along with some self-practice floor work and I am able to incorporate many different practices. I try to practice as much range-of-motion that can be practiced in order to keep my movement and nervous system in good shape.

Kit Laughlin – Stretch Therapy

https://stretchtherapy.net/

Started first 4 months of Squat routine and Shoulder flexibility. I have since then added in the pancake, full back bend, and pike routines.

I will rotate through the squat, pancake, full back bend, and pike routines throughout the week and have 1 day a week for the shoulder routine. I have experienced some impressive results with my squat and shoulder mobility since beginning this routine. This has been one of the more impressive stretching programs that I have used though have been limited to only the solo routines as opposed to the partner ones. This is currently my main program focus.

Jiu Jitsu – Ralph Gracie (Sacramento)

Grappler’s Guide (Online Resource)

https://grapplersguide.com/

I have been doing BJJ for around 2.5 years now. I have been attending Ralph Gracie for close to 2 years where I’m currently a blue belt. I will use the Grappler’s Guide as a resource as well for supplementing my training with some fundamental concepts and understanding for each of the positions.

I will typically train 4-5 days a week but sometimes 3. I find that consistency is key for me over forcing myself to go all the time as that tends to burn me out.

This has been a great way to test my other training programs to a high degree.

Bodybuilding Routine

Doug Brignole Concept – 1 exercise per muscle group

I will perform this lifting routine 1 day for the upper-body and 1 day for the lower-body per week. I previously was diligent about this routine and in 2022 worked upper and lower body each twice a week minimum.

My approach is for maintenance currently as I am spending my energy on other routines.

Knees Over Toes

Books purchasable via amazon.

These books are Knee Ability Zero and ATG for Life.

I have used Knee ability zero for around 6 months and am currently doing the ATG for life routine once a week.
